SPARKLER FAIR FAQ

What is Sparkler Fair?
Sparkler Fair is a spring fundraiser hosted by the Sugar Mill Elementary PTA to support our school. This cherished tradition dates back to the 1980s when our campus first opened. The event features carnival-style games, delicious concessions, and family-friendly activities that the community has enjoyed for decades.

How much are tickets?
  • Admission: Free!
  • Game and Concession Tickets: $0.50 each.
    • Presale (April 1 - April 25): Buy tickets in $0.50 increments.
    • Event Day (April 26): Tickets will only be sold in $20 increments on the day of.
Tickets can be purchased at ticket booths on the day of the event or during presale. Presale tickets save time by letting you skip ticket lines at the fair. No discounts apply, and unused tickets are non-refundable. Consider leftover tickets a donation to the SME PTA.
  • Payment Methods: Credit card or cash (no checks).

​Where will Sparkler Fair be held?
  • Location: Sugar Mill Elementary
  • Date: Saturday, April 26th
  • Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
The fair will happen rain or shine, with activities planned for both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Who can attend?
Everyone is welcome! You don’t need to be a student or have children at Sugar Mill Elementary to join the fun. Invite your neighbors, friends, and family.
  • Important: Every child must be accompanied by an adult.

What kind of food will be available?
We’ll have a variety of concessions for purchase, including:
  • Hot dogs
  • Nachos
  • Popcorn
  • Chips
  • Candy
  • Soda and water
A variety of food trucks will also be on-site to satisfy your cravings!

Do you need volunteers?
Yes! We’re seeking volunteers of all ages:
  • Parents, grandparents, and teachers
  • High school and middle school students looking to earn service hours
The Volunteer Check-In area will be located at the front of the school on the day of the event. Families are welcome to volunteer together.

Yes! We are collecting supplies for the fair and items for our raffle gift baskets. You can purchase items off of our wish list by clicking here.
