This year, our school will again be participating in the Box Tops for Education™ program. My name is Brooke Terrell and I’m thrilled to be the Box Tops Coordinator. Clipping Box Tops is an easy way for you to help our PTA collect money to be used to pay for field trips, buy classroom materials, and show appreciation for our hardworking teachers. Box Tops are on household products such as Totinos pizza, El Paso taco shells, Ziplocks, Cheerios, etc. Unexpired Box Tops are each worth 10ȼ and they quickly add up to real cash for our school. Be sure to double check your expiration date before you turn them in…………expired Box Tops do not count.
To help our school, just look for Box Tops on all the products you buy, clip them, and send them to school in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name, grade, and teacher’s name so that your child and his class can be credited. For every 25 Box Tops your child turns in, he/she will entered into a drawing for really awesome prizes. You will also notice a collection sheet attached to this letter. You can also use this collection sheet to count and clip your Box Tops. New collection sheets will be distributed at the beginning of the 9 weeks.
Box Tops are being picked up and counted every week, September through May. Box Tops are entered into an excel spreadsheet so please send them in whenever you can. Box Tops prizes are handed out at the end of every 9 weeks. Remember to turn them in early though, so your child doesn’t have to wait to be entered into our drawings. For every 50 Box Tops your child turns in, he/she will be rewarded with a Lunch with a Buddy pass.
Encourage your family and friends to save Box Tops for your child. It is so easy. I sent out a letter last year and we had tons of people mail my son Box Tops throughout the year. You can find a copy of this letter on the PTA website or email me and I can send it over. It doesn’t matter where you live, Box Tops are on many items all over the country!
Thanks for your help!
